Highland Hardwoods is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior accounting experience, and an attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- A/R – Invoicing, payment processing, and sending out monthly statements.
- A/P – Input vendor invoices as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers. Must be comfortable making collection calls.
- Assist with banking deposits and processing new customer credit applications.
- Light filing.

Full-Time Truck Driver – CDL A
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and experience in hauling lumber. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of lumber products to our clients within the New England region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport lumber products to various locations within New England.
- Aid in loading and unloading lumber products, ensuring secure and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Assist with forklift operation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience in hauling lumber is a plus.
- Experience with forklift operation is helpful.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
