Highland Hardwoods is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior accounting experience, and an attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A/R – Invoicing, payment processing, and sending out monthly statements.
  • A/P – Input vendor invoices as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers. Must be comfortable making collection calls.
  • Assist with banking deposits and processing new customer credit applications.
  • Light filing.

Full-Time Truck Driver – CDL A

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and experience in hauling lumber. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of lumber products to our clients within the New England region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport lumber products to various locations within New England.
  • Aid in loading and unloading lumber products, ensuring secure and proper handling.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
  • Assist with forklift operation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL A license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in hauling lumber is a plus.
  • Experience with forklift operation is helpful.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
