A bright red to orange-brown wood that is very heavy, hard,
& dense with grain that is interlocked & texture that is medium
to coarse.

Can be difficult to mill & has a tendency to tear out.

Will dull tools so keep knives sharp.

| Finishing: |
Can be finished to a smooth lustre.

Furniture, turning, & flooring.

The very attractive wood will change color in a very short
time. Is very hard to keep in supply due to the high demand
& low cost.
