Inventory
 At
Highland Hardwoods we carry on hand at all times a
complete inventory of
well over 1.5MM of the highest quality hardwoods available
anywhere. All of our lumber is put up in 500'
packs and stored in one of our three steel constructed
warehouses until it is shipped. Being in a weather
tight environment ensures that our hardwoods will
not be exposed to moisture, dirt, dust etc. that cause
a variety of problems for any user of hardwood lumber.
About Our Hardwood Lumber
We are acutely aware of the importance of lumber
quality to the customers we serve. We have spent years
developing strong long-term relationships with well
over 100 of the very best
producers of quality hardwood lumber in the
country. For example our Cherry, which we bring in
from Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, offers
excellent texture and genuine red color. We carry
only the finest Appalachian Yellow Poplar that yields
exceptional widths and lengths. We reach up to the
Canadian Provinces for the Worlds finest Yellow Birch
and as far away as Indiana to locate exceptional steamed
Black Walnut possessing deep grain pattern and rich
uniform color.

 Quality
Control
To make absolutely sure that the lumber we sell meets
our own rigid quality standards, each
shipment that comes into our yard is carefully graded
and tallied by one of our own seasoned, N.H.L.A certified
hardwood lumber inspectors. If there should
be any kind of problem with the lumber we receive
from one of our suppliers, we certainly do not want
to pass it along to our customers. The many years
of faithfully adhering to this practice have helped
our company earn a reputation as the most
consistent of all the hardwood wholesale distributors
when it comes to quality!
Delivery
Service
At
Highland Hardwoods we
consider our company's delivery service one of our
greatest strengths. We currently have a total
of five modern, commercial delivery trucks making
shipments to customers throughout the Northeast every
day of the week. When our traffic department makes
a commitment to a customer, you can rest assured that
it will be met... on time...every
time! Whether it is a full truckload delivery
or as little as one 500' pack, that is exactly the
level of service our customers have come to expect
and depend on...day in and day out.

Milling Capability
 We
are pleased to be able to offer
all of our quality hardwood lumber either rough or
milled to a smooth cabinet finish. Our company
is well equipped to service both types of customers
equally well. Here at Highland Hardwoods we have a
proven track record of
being able to comfortably handle the varied and sometimes
difficult milling requirements from our customers,
and can turn around most "milled" orders in a very
prompt fashion. As a supplement to our custom milling
capability, we usually have on hand a modest inventory
of hardwood lumber already milled to standard surface
thickness (S2S to 3/4" with 1 straight edge) to be
able to respond to "rush" orders with very little
or no notice.
