Pre-finished HomerWood^TM hardwood flooring has a great advantage over unfinished flooring. Although both floors install exactly the same, once the pre-finished floor is installed you're all done. The only thing you have left to do is move the furniture back into the room and enjoy. An unfinished floor requires sanding and then the application of urethane. This can take an extra couple of days labor with an incomparable amount of aggravation.

At Highland Hardwoods, we feel that the retail division of our company is a vital and integral part of our overall operation, filling a void in the industry that has never been well covered in the past. It is extremely difficult for the growing number of smaller woodworkers, builders, contractors, home hobbyists, etc. who use hardwoods, to find exactly what they are looking for, especially in smaller quantities (100 bd. Ft. or less). In order to satisfy this need we specially designed and built a 60'x200' self service retail warehouse where customers can hand select the various hardwoods they need from a series of over 340 individual lumber bins filled with what we feel is the highest quality hardwood lumber available anywhere.

Available in three, four, five and six inch tongue and groove widths, HomerWood^TM hardwood flooring is pre-finished with a low sheen, multi-coat Aluminum Oxide. The product is easy to care for, simply vacuum often, and/or use a soft dust mop to keep grit and abrasives off the floor. Use soft floor protectors on your chairs and furniture to prevent scratching.
